Orlando Vacation Rentals

What can you say about a town whose number one citizen is a mouse? If you haven't already guessed it, that rodent loving city is Orlando, Florida. Most famous for being the home of Mickey Mouse and Disney World plus other great theme parks such as Universal Studios and Sea World, Orlando is one of the top vacation destinations on the planet. There are thousands upon thousands of Orlando vacation home and condo rentals available to accommodate you. A private rental home or condo provides you with more privacy and space than a hotel room, and are especially useful when bringing the whole family or a large group of friends.

You will find the majority of these in the "Four Corners" intersection of Orange, Osceola, Lake and Polk counties. You are still very close to all the parks and downtown Orlando proper, yet retain the desirable privacy and additional space for families and lager groups.

Every style and every price range or vacation rental is available -but the last two weeks in March (Spring Break) and June through August will be the most expensive and book out the earliest. Check out the Orlando vacation rentals on this site and feel safe in the hands of reputable rental management companies.

Now here's the little secret: Orlando is a really great place to take a vacation, even if you hate theme parks. Yes, while decades of enormous expansion is visible all around the city proper, O-Town itself has remained free of the tremendous commercialism that surrounds it. That doesn't mean that the city hasn't undergone changes over the years. In fact, a major revitalization effort has been underway for about a decade now, with trendy new places to live, eat and shop popping up all over the city, especially in the Thornton Park area. You can enjoy all kinds of boating excursions on Lake Eola, like paddling a swan boat or maybe even a little fishing.

Check out the state animal, the American Alligator, plus all kinds of frightful friends at Gatorland. The shopping opportunities are seemingly endless, with countless malls, boutiques, and discount outlets found on International Drive, Orlando's "Tourism Corridor". Treat yourself and pick up something nice in one of the upscale shops at the Mall at Millenia. Swim with the dolphins at Discovery Cove. Do a little international waters gambling on one SunCruz or Sterling Casino Cruise Lines. Marvel at our accomplishments at the Kennedy Space Center. You can even tour and sample wines at the local Lakeridge Winery.

By the way, who said Disney World was just for kids? You will find that the area's grand theme parks and attractions make for great grown up memories as well. Plus, you are only about 45 miles from the Atlantic Ocean to the east and 70 miles from the Gulf of Mexico to the west if want to take a fun filled day trip out of the area. All this, plus the world's most famous mouse and all the other great attractions that make a Orlando vacation rental dream a reality.
